3 Reasons You Should Join The KDH x Asraya Spring Reset

If you follow me on Instagram or are on the KDH email list you know that the Spring Reset is just around the corner.

The Spring Reset is a Movement & Mindset “Challenge” to inspire more challenging yet grounding practices into your life. The Reset starts March 7th and goes through March 18th - so it’s a quick 12 days that seamlessly add more mindfulness and movement into your life.

I’ve teamed up with my friends at Asraya Wellness Co. to add in trauma-informed grounding practices to complement the high-intensity movement of KDH. If you’d like to see our schedule, check it out here.

The KDH Resets are some of my favorite aspects of the KDH Virtual Studio and I deeply believe they will change your life in some way.

Here are three reasons you should join the KDH x Asraya Spring Reset:


1. It Seamlessly Adds More Movement Into Your Life

There will be 29 classes throughout the 12 days of the Reset. You get access to both the KDH & the Asraya Virtual Studio Live Schedules so there will be anywhere from 1 to 5 opportunities to take class a day! Find a time that works for you and join us on the mat. If you can’t join us Live, that’s okay! All classes will be recorded and available in the Exclusive OnDemand library that attendees will have access to forever. That means you’ll have all 29 classes at your fingertips long after the Reset is over.


2. The Community Is Amazing

One of the main reasons I started KDH was to create a community of incredible people focused on health & wellness - something I felt I had been missing. Making friends in your 20s is hard and I feel like that’s an underrated truth. Especially if you move away from your hometown, city, or where you went to college if you went to school. I’ve also found that when you’re in a relationship in a new city, you can easily fall into the routine of having your only friends be your partner's friends - which is great - but we tend to neglect our independence that way. 

I didn’t really have my own community when I first moved to San Diego. My friends were my boyfriend’s friends, who are all wonderful people! But I realized I needed my own community apart from them to really blossom and grow and have San Diego be home to me too. 

When COVID hit, I was super lonely even though we had a full house of people. I began using social media to build relationships virtually and that blossomed into what is now Kaia D’Albora Health.

This Community means everything to me. I started the KDH Resets as a way to formalize the community in two-week increments. The Resets are an amazing way to meet people all over the country, let alone the world. From working out together in full classes, to opening our minds and bodies to growth on the Community Calls, to getting to chat and hang out in the Health & Wellness Club group chat - joining the Spring Reset will guarantee you a new group of friends here to support you, lift you up, and inspire you to live the healthiest life in your mind and body. One day we’ll all meet in person!!!


3. Heal Your Relationship With Your Body

Outside of fitness, my specialty is mindset work. I’ve seen firsthand the effect of understanding how and why you think the way you do - and really how and why you talk to yourself the way you do - can have on your overall wellbeing. Asraya’s trauma-informed wellness practices (breathwork, meditation and yoga) are designed to provide you with clarity in leading a more mindful, and intentionally aligned lifestyle.

With the combination of the light mindset work we do through my fitness classes and journal prompts and the wellness practices Asraya offers, you are guaranteed to learn something new about yourself and begin to heal.

With the current state of the world, it is extra important for you to take care of yourself in whatever way works best for you. By joining the Spring Reset you’re giving back to yourself. The serotonin you release by exercising but also through meditation will elevate your mood. When you show up for yourself, you allow yourself to intentionally show up for others.
